Our beliefs
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the infallible word of God and the ultimate authority in all issues of faith and conduct. We believe all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness that we may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and Saviour of the world. We believe that Jesus Christ was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. We believe that one day, He will come again in power and great glory.
Salvation
We believe that justification is imputed to us by God through grace. When we accept the atoning work of Jesus Christ by faith, we then find forgiveness and acceptance. We are then regarded as righteous in God's sight.
The Godhead
We believe that there are three eternal distinctions in the one divine essence, known as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that they are three persons in unity and oneness in Almighty God known as the Trinity.
The Holy Spirit
We believe that through the ministry of the Holy Spirit, conviction of sin is brought about leading to repentance, regeneration and sanctification. Believers receive power through the baptism in the Holy Spirit, being empowered for service with the operation of spiritual gifts.
The Church
We believe that there are a people who are believers in Jesus Christ who are both Jews and Gentiles and they comprise the body of Christ, the universal church. They have a royal priesthood with a spiritual unity.
Ordinances of the Church
We believe that all believers are to be baptized in water fulfilling the command of Jesus Christ. In remembrance of Christ's sacrificial death, we hold sacred, Holy Communion and its observance until He comes again.
